  • A card can be erased up to 500 times.
  • The thermal rewritable printed data will only be affected at ove 120℃

How much data can the 3rd Generation Rewrite Card stores?  Is it reliable?

  • Our card contains 3 hidden read/write magnetic tracks for electronic data storage.
  • The coercivity is 1750 Oe. It is hard to be affected or altered by typical magnetic sources and therefore digital
  • data is well protected under most situations. (normally there is 300-650Oe for traditional magnetic cards).
  • To comply with the ISO standard, the 3 readable/writable magnetic tracks stores:
    1. 1st track: 79 characters (characters or numbers)
    2. 2nd track: 40 characters (numbers)
    3. 3rd track: 107 characters (numbers)
  • Electronic data will be processed and stored by the encryption/decryption processes.
  • Afterward, all of the encrypt data can be written into rewrite cards.

  • Standalone type model is capable of 2 operating modes - stand-alone & POS.
  • standalone type model works like as a mini computer.
  • Built-in keypad to perform various commands and functions.
  • It can be operated with the built-in and customized software program in order to fulfill different client’s needs.
  • It is simple and configurable.
  • Standalone type model is especially suitable for point card, game card or bonus card.
  • And online type model can only be used online with a PC connected.
  • Both of them can support PET thermal card.

How much data can be stored in the standalone model? Can the data be taken away for further processing?

  • CRW in standalone type model contains 4Mbit static memory SRAM.
  • Assuming each transaction requires 256bit storage, 10,000 transactions can be recorded.
  • Standalone model has one or two serial port (9-pin RS232C) for connecting to PC - storing data for further processing or analysis is a snap.
  • It can also connect to the peripheral devices (e.g. receipt printer or modem) for output.
  • Compact flash memory card can be added to some of our models for bigger storage.

How big is the printing area on rewritable card?

  • The thickness of PET Card is 0.25mm.
  • We offer a superior alternative at 0.19mm.

  • The maximum thermal printing area is 55.6mm x 40 mm. 

How many characters can be recorded?

  • The maximum no of characters for printing is 500 (12 x 24 font size each).

How is the resolution? Can it support Chinese characters printing?

  • The resolution is 8 dots/mm or 210 dpi. It can support Chinese and English characters or graphics.

How long does it take to witness the rewrite process?

The steps are as follow:

  1. Reading magnetic strip data

  3. Update the magnetic strip data
  4. Erasing the visual data on card
